says he’ll be back to work as scheduled.
Eddie Kingston was said to be a little banged up after facing off with CM Punk at AEW Full Gear on Saturday night, and reportedly left the event with a shoulder injury. According to Kingston himself, however, he’s OK and doesn’t plan on missing any time as it was originally believed.
“Shoulders are fine. We’ll be at any @newwrestling1 on the 20th and we’ll miss no time at work,” Kingston wrote.
PWInsider.com first reported Eddie Kingston was dealing with an injury after Full Gear and would not appear at The Big Event on Sunday as he was originally scheduled. Northeast Wrestling later issued a statement explaining that Kingston was going to get “his shoulder checked out and having a series of medical tests” on Sunday.
Kingston was scheduled to appear at The Big Event as a vendor guest of Northeast Wrestling, and he will appear at the promotion’s “Autumn Ambush” event on November 20. Kingston is a regular on AEW programming each week, but his in-ring return for the company has not been addressed at this time.
