Jackson caught the ire of NFL fans after he shot a TikTok video of himself dancing on a logo of the late Sean Taylor's number the day it was being retired by the Washington Commanders. Check out the video here:
He apologized on Twitter and claimed that the stadium's security personnel had directed them to stand in the area. He wrote:
"I want to sincerely apologize for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were directed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family."While he cited ignorance over the gaffe in Washington, fans weren't about to let him off the hook for his involvement in another incident in Baltimore. After the Chiefs' loss against the Baltimore Ravens, Mahomes poured a water bottle on heckling fans before walking away. Here's a video of the incident:
Jackson faced plenty of vitriol online over the incident.
In Brittany Matthews' case, her tendency to, understandably, be biased towards the Chiefs has seemingly rubbed fans the wrong way. She complained that the "referees are never on the Chiefs side" after Kansas City's 38-20 loss against the Buffalo Bills.
She was also heavily criticized for opening a bottle of champagne and spraying it on unsuspecting fans in the aftermath of the Chiefs' divisional-round win over the Bills. Here's a video of the incident:

The Chiefs' immense success since Mahomes took over as the starting quarterback has already put a target on their back. Sustained dominance breeds hatred from opposition fans. And sometimes even superstar athletes.
As Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs continue their dominance, Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews' behavior makes them an easy target for fans. Whether it is justified or not is up to everyone's own interpretation. But fans won't be backing down from going after Mahomes' inner circle as long as they continue their shenanigans.
Jackson Mahomes arrested for aggravated sexual battery
Shortly after the Chiefs' Super Bowl win, Jackson Mahomes was recently accused of sexual assault and has been officially booked and brought into custody on charges of aggravated sexual battery.
The alleged incident happened in February, shortly after Mahomes celebrated the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory and Patrick's Super Bowl MVP title. The quarterback's brother was seen kissing the restaurant owner in a video that was leaked at the time. During the incident, he allegedly assaulted the victim.
With the premilinary hearing now postponed, investigation on the case is currently ongoing.
